WhatsApp Order Notifications

Via Wassenger, automatically send WhatsApp messages to customers on "payment success" and "shipped", plus an internal reminder to admins.

Setup

1. Go to the WhatsApp section at the bottom of "Settings → Messenger"
2. Enter the Wassenger API Key and the admin recipient phone number(s)
3. Turn on the master switch (off by default; zero impact until configured)
4. Saving takes effect immediately

What Gets Sent

• After payment success / shipping, a notice to the customer (with a store header + system footer)
• An internal reminder to the admin phone number(s) (with customer identity)
• Customer phone numbers are normalized to Malaysian format automatically
• For batch shipping, messages to the same customer are merged into one to avoid spamming

Tip: The WhatsApp switch is independent of Messenger; templates are reused from Messenger, no extra setup needed.
