Cannot Place Order Due to Insufficient Stock
Common Causes
1. Other customers have reserved stock
When a customer adds items to their cart, the systemreserves stock. If many customers add to cart but don't check out, stock becomes "reserved".
2. Actual stock is insufficient
The product is genuinely sold out and needs restocking.
Solutions
- Release reserved stock — In "Cart Management", clear carts that have been idle for a long time
- Restock — Increase the stock count on the product edit page
- Deactivate the member — If a member is maliciously hoarding stock, deactivate them (the system automatically clears their cart and releases stock)
